VA-11 Hall-A: Sapphic Pussy Rhapsody is a success!

Our provocatively-named project was a resounding success and we wanna take a second to thank you directly for it.

A week ago we released VA-11 Hall-A: Sapphic Pussy Rhapsody as our gift to you all to cap the string of blog posts covering 2022’s Daily VA-11 Hall-A tradition. The calendar date and day of the week won’t align for a while, so hey, we wanted to make it special.

As mentioned on its release post, SPR is an experiment for us, and a gift to you. We wanted to know how well this sort of content would do, and it blew our wildest expectations.

To be fair, said expectations were “not get burned at the stake” but hey, it counts. Not to mention the numbers it did considering elements like it being our first time releasing this sort of thing, releasing it on a singular platform, depending on organic discovery, and releasing it suddenly without a hype cycle to help its discoverability.

So I wanna thank you all for the reception SPR has received. For proving my fears wrong (I only counted 3 people aggressively demanding N1RV Ann-A which made them look all the sillier), for being open to this sort of experiment, and also just for all of your support in general. I can never say enough how much it has changed all of our lives for the better.

Oh, I also should reiterate just in case someone hasn’t gotten it all by now. We’re not changing industries from games to books all of a sudden. Games are just more involved processes that require more time and man-hours to cook. Releasing novels is meant as a supplement to our schedule, a faster creative outlet for us and a means to give you content without years of silence in-between.

I already teased some excerpts of the anthology SPR was meant to be a part of on SPR’s announcement post and that’s one thing on the kitchen. There’s also an original IP thing being made, which is the main reason I started unrusting myself on the novel-writing process to begin with.

When do we forecast we might announce more about it? Like bloody burning fucking hell I’m gonna tell you! We learned the hard way not to announce ANYTHING until we have dead set certainty that the deadline can be reasonably met. What I CAN promise you though is that we’ll make sure to announce it before releasing instead of suddenly releasing out of nowhere.

Also no, N1RV Ann-A isn’t cancelled I swear to Jesus allmighty we could post on something on the daily repeating that and some of you all fuckers would still go around asking or spreading rumors and
