Since people often say we’re not transparent despite me writing almost daily in our dev log site, and baring our souls naked in heart-wrenching blog posts, I’ll do an honest-to-god attempt at getting folks up to speed with what we’re doing.
This game changed the lives of a bunch of people all over the world, gave this team an audience and all the cool things needed to make more games in the future. For that, we will forever be grateful.
Not gonna lie, I’m not good with anniversaries. Doesn’t help I’m way too excited about our current projects to reminisce too much about Va11halla, but I still love it to bits. I love your fan art, the experiences you tell us via email, literally anything you do with our lil’ game is blessed because it was made from a place of love.
I’m still disappointed I couldn’t achieve my goal of a new cool game every two years after Va11halla, but that’s alright. Shit happened, lots of it, but as long as I’m alive I’ll be able to learn and improve as much as I need to make that possible. Too many ideas, too many characters, too many stories that need to be told and I’ll do my best to make all of them happen!
Let’s fill this world with badass cuties!
While we didn’t exactly plan anything special for this anniversary (again, I’m not good with those), Garoad (the man behind the God Tier soundtrack) along with fabulous artist Aurahack and Black Screen Records have prepared a very special full release of the game’s music in Vinyl. Features every song in the game plus extras and goodies. Just look at that beautiful artwork. Jesus Christ.
I’m sure it’s gonna be gone by the time you read this, but here it is anyway.
